Portugieser
Its origin is hard to tell. Beacuse of its similarity to Porto Wine, today the name Blue Portugieser must be used. In the largest amount it can
be found in the Villány-Siklós Wine Region. It is a sort of early harvest, Its wine has a beautifully characteristic scent, resembling the stem
of sour cherry, a red wine with an elegant colour and soft character. Its gentle tannic acid content does not allow a long cellarage. It is a
splendid raw material for mixing cuvees.
