Grüner Veltliner. A sort of probably Austrian origin, in almost one-quarter of the Austrian viticulture areas this sort is grown. Its wine is halfway between the quality and the mess wines, but it reliably produces a stable quantity each year. This sort has several advantages characteristics, with simple winery technology it can become the light beverage of the ordinary days. If the vine-stocks are middle or low loaded, wine of surprisingly pleasant scent flavour can be produced.
