Muscat Ottonel
Its aroma is very intense, and -unlike the popular belief- it has excellent acids, but not for years. Overripe grapes provide a nice dessert wine.
In the last hundred years, the Ottonel Muscat became the leading wine in the Alsatian wine region, but it is also the most common kind of muscate in Austria.
